Connie's
Biography
My
mother was from Indiana. My Father was from Tennessee. I have deep roots in
each cultural.
I was introduced to music at a very young age. I have fond memories of the
family gatherings where music would be the largest part of the day. Each
member picked up the instrument of choice and joined in to play or sing
their part. As a child I could hardly wait until I was old enough to be able
to join in on this activity.
God has a plan for each one of us. I believe His plan for me is to share
this gift of music. I have been blessed with wonderful opportunities.
My
recordings consist of: Each Time, Strange Melodies…Something Good, Angels,
Angels.. Praises..& Prayers, and my latest, Fire…Brimstone & Love. With each
new project the opportunity to grow in creativity and styles has inspired me
more then I can even imagine. In performance it is my goal to draw the
audience into the songs.
From the coal mines of Kentucky, the White House Lawn in Washington D.C. and
across the border to Victoria B.C. It is a pleasure to share God’s love in
song. It brings me joy to see how music can touch a heart or heal a hurt and
to be able to share happy times and sad times. God always walks with me to
deliver what is needed. It is a special gift to be able to share with so
many in honor of my Lord and Savior.
There is nothing more for which I
could ask.
When doors of
opportunity open, I walk through them!
I love
to worship in song. I want to embrace life to the fullest and do my very
best I can do. I desire that the Lord use me for his glory. The Lord has
blessed me with the precious gift of music. I have gained much strength
through praising the Lord through song. There are seeds to plant for God to
harvest. It doesn't matter if it is by laughter, tears, or God's grace, it's
a wonderful to be chosen to help focus my own as well as others eyes toward
Jesus!
In my repertoire I provide different styles of song from Gospel, Country,
Soft Blues to Pop sounds from the 60's. I provide soft dinner music with a
Yamaha Wind Controller that has a unique sound of its own. In my performing,
I try to give my audience a range of variety to please all for each ones
enjoyment.
From
CDBaby.com - "It has been a pleasure for her to share in many events for our
Veterans. In 2004 she began releasing to world-wide radio. "Guardian Angel
of Mine" rose to the #1 position in April 2005 on God's International Chart.
May 2005 "We Will Stand" (a duet with Debbie Bennett) also was graced with
that position on the National Country Gospel Chart."
